Yüzüncü Yıl University, makes a significant contribution for the higher education and the region through its 14 faculties, 4 institutes, 4 higher education institutions, 7 vocational higher education institutes, 23 research and practice centers, 20212 students, 1500 academicians and 1200 administrative personnel. Because of its location in Turkey, YYU is a center for student exchange in Middle East Region and YYU has many undergraduate, and graduate (both MS and PhD) students from many countries such as Iraq, Syria, Iran, Azerbaican and other Turkish Rebuplics. International activities are largely facilitated by the ERASMUS, Mevlana and International Office. There are more than 30 Erasmus+ partners in Europe and there are more than 20 partners for Mevlana exchange program.
